We are ready to work with you as soon as you have prepared your materials...here's what to do to ensure a perfect production!

bullet Prepare your photos first! Choose the very best images you have because these will yield the most polished production. Perfect composition is not the most critical factor...image quality is! Avoid, if possible, over/under exposed images, creased images and of course, those that are out-of-focus.

bullet We can do minor image repairs: re-composing for best image, color-balancing to restore original tones on color photos from the '50s and '60s, and so forth. Those yellow, blue and orange casts to photos of this era can usually be corrected without difficulty.

bullet Number your materials sequentially or number them within groups that correspond to distinct sections of your production. Our goal is to preserve, at all cost, the order of presentation you had in mind.

On photos, ensure that this numbering is done in pencil! The reason for this is that any kind of ink is likely to stay wet and get into the emulsion of other photos when they are stacked together.

The best way to legibly number photographs is to apply a small piece of frosted tape to the back of the photo and write on it in pencil. This should make it easy for us to see in case they get out of order.

bullet Make sure you have enough music to cover the number of photos you provide us with. We will use the music of your choice and ask that you provide it on CD that we will, of course, return to you. The best way to determine this is to divide the number of photos for your production by 10. This will give you the length of your production in minutes (e.g. If you have 150 photos you should provide 15 minutes of music--150 divided by 10). It is best to provide for a little more than you think you need.

Of course, because we work digitally, we can edit very accurately and even cut the length each image is onscreen according to the beat of the music. But the guideline above guards against the one thing we cannot overcome--a music shortage!

bullet Be sure to identify an image you would like to use on the cover and labels of your project. A well-selected image is the perfect finishing touch on a project's "wrapper!"

bullet Another key ingredient we will ask you to provide is a title for your movie. This can be very straight forward...or as creative as you want to make it! Let it express something special about the emotion of the event or your special thoughts on the occasion. In our personal consultation with you, we can help with suggestions that will perfectly capture your intention!

bullet We will include as many additional titles as you want for sections, so be certain to ask for what you need.

bullet Finally, think of any special thought you might like to express in a dedication page. Consider this as being like the inside of a  greeting card...a thought that expresses your sentiment , a poem that captures the occasion, or an appropriate song verse or passage of sacred scripture that says exactly what you want to say. Don't worry if it is too long to fit on a single screen...we can scroll it just like in the movies!

Once you have this all together, then it's time for us to meet...

in person if you live in the Denver area, or in a personal telephone consultation if you will be sending your material to us. We want to understand your project completely and will take the time necessary to make sure you...

  1. Understand the production process;
  2. Know what the project will cost, including copies and shipping;
  3. Are completely comfortable that the project you receive is exactly the project you had in mind when you contacted us!

Now that you understand how to build your project...

Let's get started right now with a no-obligation consultation with one of our personal producers, who will give you all the information you require...what are you waiting for?
